    Chinese delegation is expected to attend a regular meeting of the Eurasian group on combating money laundering and financing of terrorism.

    Russia's Federal Service for Financial Monitoring has signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese Center for Money Laundering Prevention, Viktor Zubkov, director of the Russian service said. Zubkov is part of the Russian delegation that arrived in China with President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. "This document has become the 29th anti-money laundering agreement we have concluded with other countries," Zubkov said.

    Chinese and Russian lawyers and law enforcement officers are expected to meet in order to share their knowledge on the prevention of money laundering, Zubkov said.

    In May, a Chinese delegation is expected to attend a regular meeting of the Eurasian group on combating money laundering and financing of terrorism (EAG) in St. Petersburg, Zubkov said. The members of the EAG, which was created in October 2004, are Russia, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
